The Ferry

Two Harbors is on Catalina Island. Plan the crossing carefully — the boat will not wait.

Where does the ferry depart from?
Ferry departure & check-in
400 Main Street, Newport Beach, CA 92661

The crossing is roughly an hour and a half.

What time do I need to be there?

Last boarding is 10:45 AM. Arrive 60 to 90 minutes early so you have time for parking, check-in and boarding.

Ferry check-in and wristband pickup open at 9:00 AM.

What happens if I miss the ferry?

We can’t hold the boat for late arrivals, and tickets are non-refundable. Give yourself more time than you think you need — parking around Balboa fills up fast on a Saturday morning.

Is parking available?
Parking
1 Balboa Pier, Newport Beach, CA 92661

Parking is available near the ferry but extremely limited, and rates typically run $30–$50 per 24 hours. It usually fills up by 9:00 AM. Rideshare or a drop-off is strongly recommended.

What time is the return ferry?

The return ferry departs Two Harbors at 7:30 PM, half an hour after the event ends. It cools off on the water after sunset, so bring a light layer for the ride back.

Is ferry transportation included with my ticket?

Depends which ticket you buy. One ticket type includes roundtrip ferry transportation from Newport Beach; the other is island-only, for guests arriving on their own boat or yacht.

Tickets & Entry

How do I buy tickets?

Through POSH. Get tickets here.

Is this a 21+ event?

Yes, 21 and over with no exceptions. A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID is required for entry. Photos of IDs are not accepted.

When can I pick up my wristband?

Ferry guests can check in and collect wristbands from 9:00 AM at the Newport Beach departure point. If you’re arriving on your own boat, check-in opens at 12:00 PM at the main entrance.

The box office closes at 5:30 PM on the day of the event. After that no further wristbands are issued.

Where do I check in?

At the main entrance on the left-hand side of the venue as you face the water. You’ll see it as soon as you come off the pier. VIP guests check in at the same entrance and are walked to their reservation.

It’s marked on the venue map.

Can I leave and come back?

Yes. Re-entry is permitted with a valid wristband.

Will tickets be available at the door?

If the event hasn’t sold out, a limited number of island-only tickets may be available. Buy in advance — ferry tickets sell out first.

Arriving by Boat or Yacht

Can I come on my own boat?

Absolutely. Island-only tickets are for exactly this. Use the Two Harbors mooring facilities and harbor services.

Where do I check in if I arrive by boat?

At the main entrance, right by the pier. Check-in opens at 12:00 PM.

Can I go back to my boat during the event?

Yes. Re-entry is permitted with your wristband.

Can I arrive by helicopter?

Yes. Helicopter transfers to Catalina can be arranged as part of a VIP reservation. Mention it when you submit your request.

On the Day

What time does the music start and end?

Music runs from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The return ferry leaves at 7:30 PM.

What kind of music is it?

An authentic European-inspired beach club soundtrack — house, Latin house, disco, deep house and uplifting daytime sounds.

What’s the dress code?

Tropical and beach attire. Think European summer — linens, swimwear, stylish beach wear and footwear you can walk on sand in. Keep it light; it will be hot and sunny. Swimsuits are absolutely fine, and you’re encouraged to get in the water.

Is there food and a full bar?

Yes to both. The Grill serves food throughout the event, and there are four bars: the Main Bar and Huts Bar along the back, the Cabana Bar serving the VIP row, and the Lounge Bar in the Yacht Club area. Premium cocktails, beer, wine, champagne, seltzers, soda and water.

All of it is marked on the venue map.

Is the event cashless?

Yes. Cards only, accepted throughout the venue.

Are there restrooms?

Yes. Permanent restroom facilities sit just outside the venue entrance, with additional portable restrooms inside the event space.

What should I bring?
  • Valid government-issued photo ID
  • Sunscreen — shade is limited and you’ll be outdoors all day
  • A towel, if you want to lie on the sand
  • A light jacket for the ferry ride back

Pack light. There are no lockers or storage, so bring only what you need and keep valuables with you.

Can I bring outside food or drinks?

No. Outside food, alcohol and drinks are not permitted.

Can I bring a bag?

Yes, bags are allowed. All bags are checked by security on entry.

Is there shade?

Yes. Shade sails cover the picnic area behind the cabanas, and every cabana, day bed and lounger comes with its own shade.

Is there somewhere to change?

There are public restroom facilities, but dedicated changing rooms are limited.

Is smoking or vaping allowed?

Only in designated areas.

Is there cell service or Wi-Fi?

There’s cell service, though it slows down on busy weekends. Public Wi-Fi is limited — plan for patchy connectivity.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

The event takes place entirely on sand, which makes accessibility challenging. Beach wheelchairs aren’t available at Two Harbors, but you’re welcome to bring one on the ferry and our staff will help however we can.

Will there be security and medical staff?

Yes. Professional security and medical personnel are on site all day.

Will there be photographers?

Yes. Professional photographers and videographers will be capturing the day. Photos and recap videos go up on our social channels afterwards — tag us Merch @casadelmar.oc.

Staying Over

Can I stay on the island overnight?

Yes, you can stay in Avalon. Accommodation at Two Harbors itself is extremely limited.

Getting to Avalon from Two Harbors means taking the Cyclone, which has limited availability and is not booked through us. Arrange it yourself well in advance, and check its departure time before you commit — if you miss it and you’re not on the return ferry, you’re stuck.

Is transportation available after the event?

The official event ferry departs Two Harbors at 7:30 PM. Anyone staying overnight needs to make their own arrangements.

Policies

Are tickets refundable?

No. All sales are final, on both tickets and VIP reservations.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Yes, through the POSH app, as long as the ticket hasn’t been checked in and the name can be updated before the event. Transfers are not refunds.

What’s the weather like?

Warm Southern California summer. Hot and sunny through the afternoon, cooling noticeably after sunset — bring a light jacket for the ferry home.
